I was fortunate to play professional golf, become a full-time photographer and now be a CEO of multi-million dollar businesses. The one core thread through all of that is understanding my DNA. and knowing what I was willing to sacrifice to achieve my goals and how I was going to focus on business. At every turn, I had a few things in common: Someone telling me I couldn’t, someone who believed in me, belief in myself. Whatever it is in order to become highly successful with it you have to give up things. In my case, I know I have to give up my Thursday poker nights – at least for a while so that I can work on my professional golf career. I made the commitment in order to achieve my goal. This meant: long nights and less sleep. But whatever it is that I set myself as a goal, I made sure that nobody is going to outwork me. I just care more than everybody else. I made the choice that this is part of my life and do what is necessary to achieve it.
